12 LTTE terrorists killed - Daily News- 2008/10/14

Twelve LTTE terrorists were killed and six others reported wounded in yesterday’s fighting between troops and LTTE at Wanni and North. In addition two soldiers have laid their lives and seven wounded during the fighting.

At the Eastern Kilinochchi battlefront in general area West of Akkarayankulama, nine terrorists were reported killed during confrontations. On the Mullaitivu battlefront at Welioya, troops confirmed three terrorists killed and two wounded following separate confrontations with LTTE.

The fighting was mainly reported in general area at Andankulama and Tannimurippukulama.

Four other terrorists were also reported wounded during a confrontation between troops and LTTE at Muhamalai.
