Dan Hardy Opina Que Paulo Costa Podría Ser Expuesto Por Peleadores Habilidosos Como Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker Y Darren Till

Paulo Costa tendrá la pelea más importante de su carrera profesional en las MMA, cuando enfrente al campeón de peso medio del UFC, Israel Adesanya, en el UFC 253 del próximo 19 de septiembre, en una arena que aún está por confirmar.

Adesanya vs. Costa es un combate que despierta mucho interés debido a que se espera que el brasilero salga a presionar al campeón, respaldado por su poder de nocaut. Aunque esto no tendría que ser algo malo para Adesanya, ya que él es un contragolpeador y va a brillar si su rival va hacia adelante.

Dicho esto, el peleador retirado y analista de MMA, Dan Hardy, recientemente se refirió a Costa y al peligro que éste representa. Según Hardy, hay peleadores habilidosos en la pelea de pie como Robert Whittaker, Darren Till y el propio Adesanya, que serían capaces de anular la capacidad de Costa de terminar peleas de un golpe (vía MMANews):

Dan Hardy: "Seré honesto, ¿qué tan peligroso es Paulo Costa? Creo que solo es un striker más imprudente que Yoel Romero. No creo que él suponga la misma clase de problemas para cualquiera de esos chicos. Por supuesto, puede atraparte con una de esas 'posibles bombas'. Es como pelear con Derrick Lewis. Si te atrapa, te va a noquear. Si no te atrapa, probablemente puedas hacerlo lucir bastante tonto con tus habilidades y técnica. Y pienso que esos tres chicos tienen la habilidad y capacidad para hacer que Paulo Costa se vea como un levantador de pesas. Que es realmente lo que él es en comparación con aquellos artistas marciales".

If he catches you, he's gonna knock you out. If he doesn't catch you, you can probably make him look quite silly with your skills and technique. And I think all three of these guys have got the skills and ability to make Paulo Costa look like a powerlifter. Which is really what he is in comparison to these martial artists."
